This male Peregrine has been hanging around the Fodry, Loop Head over the last three weeks. He regularly perches on a post near the top of Fodry Hill surveying the land and sea. I have observed him on three or four occasions in recent weeks, fly out to sea and kill a Storm or Leach's Petrel, take it back to land where he lands on the ground to eat his prey.
